I've hesitated writing this post since Christmas, but maybe it will do someone some good. This problem is my fault and I don't expect any action from either Kitchen Aid or QVC. Three years ago I ordered the 9 cup Kitchen Aid Food Processor from QVC on waitlist. I bought it as a one use appliance, to slice potatoes for scalloped potatoes. I'm pretty handy with a knife and I didn't need it for chopping. Anyway, I sat there in blissful ignorance until a neighbor wanted to borrow it at Christmas. At that time I determined the main metal chopping blade was missing, there was only the one that fit into the small work bowl. Also I never got an owners manual or a rebate coupon. So three things were missing, although the box and items looked intact. Either Kitchen Aid goofed in packing or QVC sent out a return that a customer had filched three items from.
So check your appliances carefully, especially if you get it on waitlist.
