I have just purchased a ceramic top electric stove and my current cookware just doesn't seem to work well on it. I need some help!! Can anyone tell what they have purchased from QVC or Costco that works well on these stoves. I noticed that on the 23rd there is a cook show so I am supposing the TSV will be a cookware set by cooks essentials or someone but actually I would just like to know of a good cookware set--I love dishwasher safe and non-stick also if possible. Can someone teach this old dog new tricks with a good set of cookware to use on these stoves. Thanks!!

I bought a set of Wearever Stainless cookware from Walmart, they work great on my glass cook top.
Whatever set you buy make sure the bottoms are smooth.

I have a glass top, but it doesn't seem to hold the heat. The burner surges off and on. I wish I had a gas stove or an electric one now.
I have CE Hard Anodized. It's not the cookware, but the range that doesn't work.

I thought these cook tops were suppose to do this but not sure but then again maybe its cause its not a flat bottom pan---maybe someone can answer that too--??

All you need is for pans to have evenly flat bottoms. I used all my regular cookware, Le Creuset, bare cast iron & All-Clad on my ceramic top. Although I hated it and I'm so glad I have gas again.

I do not have a ceramic top stove. As mentioned by others, I understand that the bottoms of the pans need to be perfectly flat.
You mentioned Costco, and I wanted to mention that I have a set of 18/10 stainless Kirkland cookware from Costco. The description on the website states that these can be used on all cook tops. My set is years old, and I notice that the newer set is a little different than mine. But, with the quality of my set, and knowing how Costco stands behind their products, I think it is certainly worth looking at.

I bought a set of kitchen aid pots and pans and they have been ideal. My old stainless steel pots that were from the 1930s just did not work anymore.

When I got my ceramic stove I did my homework. Best recommended cookware for this is either stainless steel or hard anodized.
