Re: Celebrity chefs... when is enough, enough?

If the products are unpopular they will fail and go away. I'm not impressed by Ree's  clothing line, but I'm just one person, it might be successful and a winner for QVC.

I don't consider "brokering" a product creativity!

They don't design or manufacture...

just add their name for a $$.

  • A broker does not typically take ownership of the goods or services but arranges their exchange.

  • Brokers are often compensated by a fee or commission once the deal is successfully executed.

Whatever the product, when you add a celebrity name you add dollars to the price...they don't do it for free!

I was never a fan of hers....just neutral....never watched her show or read her blog.  I never purchased any of her household items.

However I just purchased this top and it fits me amazingly well!  It's a great fall top since it's still a bit warm here and is very slimming.  I liked it so much I went back for another color.

That's a cute top, pretty color, but nothing like the embroidered peasant tops she used to wear on her cooking show.

@tansy Thanks!  I went back & bought the black (like I need another black top!).  It's going up to 70 here today and next week it will be in the low 80s.  I want a fall look but want to be comfortable and it's nice to have some new things.

True, It doesn't look like her peasant tops or dresses which is not my style.
