Cast Iron Griddle/Grill -- Question

I have my eyes on one at Kohl's and will wait till Friday's to use my 30% off coupon It's a Bobby Flay brand cast iron reversible griddle/grill and wondered if any of you have used one. Reviews on-line are mixed -- from too heavy to slipping and sliding on gas burners, and difficult to clean. I have a gas stove and and would not want this thing slipping around, especially if it's HOT!!! Any suggestions or thoughts? TIA.
