Love this stuff, but haven't had it in decades!  When we were growing up, we would use ice milk or ice cream, the malted milk powder, and a huge squirt of Hershey's chocolate syrup and have a "chocolate malt."  Delicious!  

And yes on the Whoppers too!

OMG!!!!!  I remember that from my childhood long, long ago.  I didn't think it was still being made.  I don't remember how we used it, only that we did.

@spud188, excellent recommendation! My kids were Ovaltine addicts-especially the malt: my son easily went through two jars a week! It's excellent for hot chocolate too!

I am old and I have never lived in a home without Carnation Malt Powder in the pantry.  Ever. 

One of THE best things in the world is a good old fashioned hamburger and a malt.  Something about that combination is simply wonderful!
