I will stick with my Technique - I grab pans individually from Wal Mart as I need them.  But they last forever and nothing sticks - lightweight and even cooking.  Pan cost me between 15-25$

My friend bought a set of  'renewed' Curtis Stone DuraPans she found on Amazon. They were more than 50% off and in perfect condition. I would have never thought they had such a thing on Amazon. She got a good deal.

I have several pieces of their stainless.  It's very well made and I love cooking with them!  I have gotten them  during the holidays when they have a decent sale.

I bought 3 Hexclad frypans a couple of months ago and love them.

I don't have any of those high-end brands, but when I want a new pot, I have good luck in Marshall's, TJ Maxx or even Burlington.  They have open stock items and I like seeing the item (how heavy it is, comfortable to hold) before buying.

Gordon Ramsey uses HexClad cookware on his  H ell's Kitchen TV show. He claims to use it at his home also. 

My friend bought a complete bundle of HexClad and said it is the best cookware she ever used and she's tried a lot of different brands over the years.,
