Can’t remember who was looking for “liquid” food coloring

I bought some at the Dollar Tree today.  They had a lot you find it in baking section - top shelf.  They also had the liquid style in Winn Dixie of course it's 5x's more!

It's so good to see McCormicks at the Dollar Tree, also Betty Crocker.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but since I haven't baked in a while ... is there a food color shortage?  Or is food color no longer liquid?

@santorini

The OP didn't want to use the gel style which is easily found everywhere.

No shortage I know of.

@santorini  I'm wiyh you.  I thought Liquid was the typical way to have food colouring.

Guess I'm outta the loop.
