Can someone help with with the KitchenAid fruit strainer attachment?

I purchased the kitchenaid fruit strainer attachment to make applesauce. I always leave my peelings on and for the life of me cannot figure out where the peels come out when I use this should be? I am making applesauce tomorrow so any help would be appreciated!
