How's your baking going?  I'm a day behind because of a schedule change.  So much for planning!

 

I gave up on the white chocolate bark.  Dealing with that much hot chocolate is a total pain!

Thank you for checking in on me.  I baked gingerbread cookies for my coworkers last week, but other than that I have no baking plans. We spent the weekend at the Omni Grove Park Inn for a family birthday. It was lovely.  I'm off from school this week and hoping to find some time to relax.  

 

Good luck with your baking. I'd love to see pics when you're finished.

Sounds like you're ready to be off, I always loved that short time to do things uninterrupted.

 

You may be interested to know that during WW II German generals were secluded at Grove Park Inn.

 

The well known Gingerbread House competition is also held there, if they still do it and was featured yearly on Good Morning America (I haven't heard of it since covid). You might enjoy seeing the displays.
