I heard 1-1/2 lbs of hamburger and a sleeve of saltine crackers.
My husband talked through the other two ingredients! Arggghhh. LOL
ETA: The host (sorry, I don't remember names of everyone) commented on Chris's weight loss and I agree she looks great!

It certainly sounds like a very basic recipe for meatloaf if two of the four ingredients are meat and saltine crackers.
Nothing wrong with basic, but really, there is hardly a dearth of excellent and still fairly simple recipes for meatloaf that benefit from a few more flavorful ingredients. I must have a million of them.

I saw another thread, in the Recipe forum, asking for this info and somebody posted it. Honestly, it sounded nauseating.
If the short list of ingredients weren't enough, it said to dump a can of 'cream of whatever' soup on top and in the oven it goes.
Seriously, if somebody wants to make meatloaf, I'd spend a few extra minutes to make it nice with better ingredients.

Like I said - there is another thread asking for this information, in the Recipes forum, and somebody posted the entirety of the recipe in that thread.

chickenbutt beat me to it, but here's the link:
I think I saw on pinterest a meatloaf recipe showing stuffing mix as an ingredient - anyone ever try that?

Thanks, Denise!
I'm not very good at babysitting people so it didn't even occur to me to post the link. I hope that will be helpful, should somebody decide to actually READ your post. ![]()

People raved about the stuffing one, so I tried it..didn't like it...it tasted sage- y obviously..like stuffing... I guess what I am saying is it tasted somehow " artificial".. And yet I do like stove top...but On the side...
it DID hold together nicely....

I love L&L . I agree that Chris is sweet, professional and I like to see her colorful uniforms. As far as the recipe for meatloaf it does sound a bit bland. Part of her liking it probably has to do with having made and eaten it with her grandmother. I think that has a lot to do with what we consider 'comfort food.'
There are probably more recipes for meatloaf than people on the planet (?
) One of my favorite has sage called for. The one with boxed stuffing sounds intriguing but I have never found a boxed stuffing that did not have almost a daily serving amount of sodium in it, so I will pass on that.
