I had to return my 1st set for a replacement. With the 1st set the fry pan was defective, the rims (couldn't have been stainless unless it was a very, very thin coat applied) chipped/peeled off of all pans and off of all of the rivet heads (the outside of the handle bolts) on the pans and lids.

This made the rims very scratchy and my daughter snagged her finger which bled.

The outside rivets became black, dull and rough.

We put them in the dishwasher a few times as they said you could do, but mostly washed them by hand which was easy.

I cannot get an egg to slide around like they demonstrated and it's hard to intially release.

I love the color and would like to buy larger pans when they become available, however not if my replacement shows the same defects.

I hope they correct these probelms.

Am I the only one with these problems?

Anyone know of a brand with a nice green color ( I do love this set's green with sparkles) that releases food easily, cleans easily, non chemical, and the pans don't chip/peel or gouge and aren't heavy?

I also liked Paula Deans Robin's Egg blue, but I couldn't put them in the dishwasher. Although they were easy to clean, having a family, not everyone would clean them by hand.
