I was in the grocery store the other day, and was passing the "Gluten-Free" section. I stopped to take a look and found Brown Rice Pasta. I love pasta, and have been eating whole wheat for several years. So, I thought I would give this a try.

I like it so much better than whole wheat pasta. It cooks al dente, but has more of the taste of white pasta. It doesn't have the nutty, and sometimes bitter, after-taste of some whole wheat pasta. And, I like my pasta al dente.

The package said to cook for two minutes, but that's ok only if you still like it crunchy. I cooked it until it reached the consistency that I liked. It is a little starchy, so I ran a little cold water spray over it, while it was in the colander.

The next day I warmed up the left over pasta, and it reheated just fine.

Brown rice is so good for us, and is a great low-glycemic complex carb. Sugar grams are 0.

I've been a pasta eater all of my life, and I now have a new favorite.

"I've been here since October 2006. Wow!"
