I was interested in the British Bangers, M137430, on the Gourmet Holiday show this afternoon. I usually order kielbasi from a place in PA for the holidays but thought I'd try something new since I wasn't really happy with my last order. It says right on the package "Made in USA" but the description says "Imported". I asked the AI listed about it and was told they were imported, not where imported from, and just distributed in the USA. They really were pushing getting these in Brooklyn and never once said anything about them being imported. I'll surely be more careful in the future, preferring to purchase meats from USA. I'm glad I hesitated and didn't spend $49 for 16 for something they couldn't tell me where they were made. I usually don't purchase food from QVC and will surely think twice in the future. I think this is really misrepresentation on their part.

I've had these at the Barclay Center in Bklyn and they're very good. I've had the hotdog and the Weisswurt. The name of the company is Brooklyn Bangers and the company is actually in Brooklyn.
They started by selling them at The Vanderbilt restaurant in Brooklyn which is fairly well known here.
The package says Made in the USA and they're fully inspected by the US Dept of Agriculture, so I would go with that info vs whatever the AI wrote. I also checked the description for these and see nothing about them being imported.
Since the brand is also sold at Fairway and Trader Joe's I would highly doubt they'd be ok with false advertising.

I was confused by the thread title "British Bangers", as I couldn't find those online.
I realized after searching that they're Brooklyn Bangers, German and Polish inspired, so nothing to do with Britain. I was interested because DH is British, but these wouldn't appeal to him.
However, at the bottom of the description, it does say "Imported".

To me, this is the bottom line.
Often you get little information from on-air presentations. That would require curtailing the entertainment.
The written descriptions are often incomplete, and in this case, incorrect. And forget the useless AI answers to questions. What a waste.
I would rather believe the front of the package where it's shown Made in USA.
This isn't the easiest place to shop.

Yes I missed that when I looked at the product page. I do still feel the words on the package saying Made in the USA would still take precedence over something QVC posted, bit who knows?
