I used to only use regular teabags to make Southern Sweet Tea. I'd drink it like water all summer long so I was making a new pitcher either daily or every other day. I've discovered TAZO Teas and have been using them to make brewed iced tea. The Zen is my absolute favorite. When I made the Passion I didn't add enough sugar so it wasn't the best. I tried the Green Ginger today and that's another good one. For 2 qt. pitcher, I use 8 teabags and 1/3-1/2 cup of sugar, and it's just the right amount of sweetness, IMO. Thinking about how moms made Kool-aid back in the day and it required a full cup of sugar....whew.
So, do any of you brew "other" kinds of tea for iced tea?
