I fired up my trusty bread machine and I'm making cranberry lemon bread. The kitchen smell wonderful. Are you making anything yummy today ?

Like people have been complaining about the canned pumpkin....been on the hunt for a couple of weeks. Finally got some today for a quick bread pumpkin bread in the bread machine. (As soon as we finish the Cranberry Christmas Cake.)

@msclassylady717 It's from my bread maker recipe book. It's the sweet bread setting for 1 1/2 lb. loaf.

Add to bread pan - 1 cup plus 2 Tbs. water

2 Tbs. oil

1 teasp. salt

3 Tbs sugar

1 teasp. Lemon extract

3 cups of flour

sprinkle 1 teasp. Yeast over flour

Start machine.
When it's time to add extras, add 1 Cup craisens.

I use to make bread from scratch (no so called bread machine). The only thing I enjoyed about it was the way the WHOLE house smelled. That smell lasted a long time too.

@Mz iMac , Your welcome. I've made bread from scratch, and I rally didn't enjoy it, it seems to take forever.
