Besides the traditional Thanksgiving meal, I'll probably only have 4 of us this year.  Three are "man eaters"  that just sounds funny to say it that way.  Three will be men.

I am totally clueless on an idea for that meal this year.  Each year I seem to shoot for an easy meal, since I'll make it here.

Any chance anyone has a suggestion?  I just am blank this year. Thanks.

I would cook a pork tenderloin, sauteed apples, mashed potatoes and a green vegetable.

My favorite meat is pork tenderloin and I haven't had it for a while.  It's pretty quick and easy.

Pizza and beer, lol, just kidding.

How about ham, some type of potato, veggie dish and salad, and pecan pie for dessert?

Something on the grill.  Have them be in charge!

Can I come to your house?!  Your meal sounds so much better than turkey.

I think I'm confused! Are you cooking the traditional turkey, etc., and want to also serve something else for the 4 of you? If that's the case, I wouldn't fix anything in addition to the turkey and fixings. If it's a separate meal for them, then letting them grill some steaks or burgers takes some of the work of you! Potatoes on the grill - sliced and wrapped in foil with butter, onions and seasonings is pretty easy, along with a green salad and maybe a green bean casserole (I"ve never met a man who doesn't like that darned casserole!

Or, pork tenderloin as mentioned, is always good!

@qualitygal Have you asked them what they would liked?  They may be ok with a burger or a sandwich.

Ham of course and for those who do not eat ham, maybe a turkey breast. Mc and cheese, something sweet, maybe yarms topped with pineapples or marshmello , sauteed spinach and another green vegetable.

I'm sure if you asked them they would say and since it's not a lot of people, it would be easy. Men are not hard to please when it comes around food.

All the men I know would be pleased with the traditional turkey meal. I guess having another meat option, like ham, would be a nice addition.
