Boston Market is awesome, I usually go there when I'm in the area of one. But as many said, there aren't many around anymore.

One thing I don't get there is any beef item- their pot roast, for example. It was so fatty!! Because of that I never tried the ribs- or any other beef item they brought in for a limited time.

I haven't been to one in a long time. Sounds like a good idea.

I always go to Boston Market when I get a craving for a Thanksgiving meal when it isn't Thanksgiving. Their food is pretty darn good. Their chicken pot pie is the best. Go for it!

Yahhhhhh! I read through the thread, thinking....if one was still in my area I'd go there. Love their food. So happy you committed to the decision. Please post back and let us know how it went. We'll all have to eat at Boston Market vicariously through you...appears they closed in many places, not just mine.

my sister lives in Michigan...and they order a complete dinner, every year, from Boston Market....they love them....

last year she tried Kroger...her son works there...and they all hated it...so they went back to Boston Market....

This thread made me long for that sweet potato casserole, so I decided to see if there was a copy cat recipe-blissfully there was!!! As I type it's in the oven. I didn't have time to look over everything, but there were quite a few Boston Market recipes which is a wonderful thing for those suffering tore closures. That being said, there is nothing like their chicken Poodlepet2 (formerly Poodlepet)

I've never done it but would not hesitate at all if ai was alone or just having dinner for 2 on Thankgiving. You wouldn't wind up with so many leftovers that way. When I had my first apartment and lived alone it wouldn't make sense to cook big meals. I could go to Boston Market get some sliced turkey, stuffing and a vegetable and feel festive.
