I've wondered, too. The blue-jean chef (very nice lady) has been presenting all the Cooks Essential Products. Every now & then Bob will appear when he is demonstrating the Ninja products. Was he let go by the Q? Did he quit the Q? Why? Did he get a better monetary offer? Is he ill?

I met him personally at the Q a few years back. He was so very nice and genuine. So sorry to not be able to watch him anymore! Anyone know anything

I like Bob Warden too and have noticed lately he is only on for the Ninja products and Meredith presents Cooks Essentials. I also wondered why. I like Meredith too. Seems like the CE line has become very small compared to years ago. I always enjoyed the helpful hints Bob gave.

I used to enjoy Bob W. but in the last couple of years, not so much. I have noticed some tension between him and David V. (there were some threads about that awhile back) and I think a time or two he seemed almost inappropriate with female hosts. I kind of wonder if they just sort of phased him down with the intention of getting him out.

I know he does lots of Ninja infomercials, and was doing one for a vacuum cleaner as well. Perhaps he choose to move on.

I think he was phased out as a representative for the Cooks Essentials line when QVC restructured these lines a while back.

In addition to the CE line, QVC also had Prepology, presented by Eric Thiesse (sp?) and Technique and the Blue Jean Chef lines, both presented by Meredith Laurence. QVC has combined all of the lines under the CE umbrella, and Meredith will be presenting them all.

I think Meredith was chosen because many shoppers like her, and with Bob's representation of Ninja (and Eric's representation of other items), this reduced confusion amongst the viewers who may have assumed that these products were all by the same manufacturer.

I think David Venable and Bob Warden had some friction and it was evident on the air as a few posters pointed out. Not sure what caused it but I remember reading about it.

There are all different categories of vendor reps on the Q. Bob Warden has his own endeavors/company in the food industry. He was on when Bob Bowersox did the cooking shows. He comes in to present items when needed. Then there are those reps who are directly employed by the company-like the Algenist girl, Perricone, Christine from HP(gone now) and Nate from Dell etc. They present whenever their company has a product on the Q. Clairisonic has changed their rep recently. Chaz finally hired Gina--(

So maybe Q is not calling on Bob Warden as often. Jan Muller works outside the Q but is called on for Vitamix, Food Wrapper etc.

You do not know what their committments are outside of the Q. They are all trying to make a living.
