DH made T-bone steaks on the grill tonight with an nice salad for dinner for my birthday. The steaks were really good. They were labeled t-bone but more like a porterhouse. I ate the filet side & put the strip side in the refrigerator. He also made chocolate goodie for dessert instead of a cake. It's yummy.

Happy birthday. The steak sounds yummy and so does the chocolate goodie. Is that the stuff with a crust, chocolate pudding, cream cheese, cool whip and nuts? If so, it is very good

The best birthday gift you (the OP) was given is the fact that you and your husband enjoyed it together!

My late husband gave me many amazing birthdays. I miss him so much. He died in 2004.

Thanks you. Sorry for the loss of your DH. So true. You don't know how long you have on this earth. Our 38th anniversary is next Fri.
