My daughter's birthday is next month. She always looks forward to picking out a cake. Nothing too fancy, usually from Kroger. Do you think it's safe to order and buy a cake right now?

It probably is; presumably, the bakers and decorators wear masks while they're working. But why take the chance? Eat ice cream this year and let her pick the flavor. ![]()

Of course, you still buy your food at the local grocery store, right???
Then, why would there be a concern about the bakery department.
I think they will have their selections on line and you can have her select her favorite!

Absolutely! A lot of time between now and then. You can probably order a week and a week and a half out.![]()
Or, do a fruit pizza or your own cake.

I just picked up my birthday cake today from Publix. I have no concern about this. I have purchased bakery rolls, bread and bagels with no problem.
