Beet or Cane Sugar?

I was reading about sugars and cane sugar was better for baking and candy making. So look for "Cane Sugar" on the bag. If it just says "Sugar", it is likely beet sugar.

Cane sugar caramelizes, but beet sugar just burns. Some could tell the difference in their candy and frostings in the finished product and how it tasted.

Look for confectioners sugar made with cane sugar for better frostings and icings.
