Any one purchase the beef Wellington? Could not find much info as to what the stuffing is.

Traditionally beef Wellington is filet mignon topped with mushroom duxelles then encased in puff pastry.  There is no "stuffing".

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

I did not like the Rastelli Beef Wellington at all.

It was soggy and the taste was not plesant.

Maybe this doesn't freeze well? IDK.

I prefer Kansas City steaks over Rastelli, but I'm not quite sure he doesn't have his face in that company too.

A few years ago, I ordered a Rastelli steak product and it came in a KCS  box.

I am still puzzled to this day.  Customer Service couldn't give me a reason for this.

I did have Beef Wellington at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant and it was excellent.

@Group 5 minus 1  They were one of my worst purchases ever. Awful. Soggy and no taste. Smiley Tongue

I thought you were a vegetarian? Maybe mixing you up with someone else.

@Group 5 minus 1 - Although others have not had good experiences, we have had Rastelli's twice for special occasions and we have all been happy. They have been delicious.  Smiley Happy

Don't think I've had beef wellington--maybe I did??? would never order it from here tho--have not had good luck with this brand at all. I did make a salmon wellington for a Xmas dinner---it was amazing!!
