Re: Baking breaded pork chops - ?

[ Edited ]

I use plain bread crumbs (the kind that come in a container) and season them with all kinds of seasonings depending on my mood.

I first coat the chops with mayonnaise then dip them in the bread crumb mix.  Lay them on a non-stick aluminum foil lined cookie sheet and stick them in the oven for 30 minutes, flip them and cook for another 20.  Ordinarily, I buy the 1" cut so they need a little more time to cook.

I've also mixed finely crumbled Ritz crackers into the bread mix to add a little more flavor.

Oh, sorry guys.  I didnt mention that mine are thick chops.  They come out perfect crispy and juicy.  They are about 3/4 to 1 inch.
