Bad Reviews on Keurig Has Scared Me Away!

I have been wanting a Keuring for so long and I see today the big Platinum series is on EZ Pay. I was all excited UNTIL I read the reviews for this model! Yikes! What in the world is wrong with some of them? They just stop working or something? Has anyone addressed this issue? While it isn't a huge amount of money, it still is an investment that I expect to WORK for me! Are there quality issues or what?
