No help from me, either. Do you have the Costco app for your phone? It's gotten better. It shows the current specials.

Produce-wise, I mainly buy organic so Costco is not a good source for me. They used to carry organic spinach, now it's the chemical-laden kind. No way am I going to feed that to my family.

I got hooked on their Namaste gluten-free flour mix, but they discontinued that as well as other things I used to buy. So, TP and paper towels it is. Nada mas. - Bird

have you been recently? There is all kinds of organic now!

Spring/summer stuff starting to appear(grills, outdoor furniture, bathing suits etc.). A few months ago I noticed BJ's is selling their own brand of ready made meals, haven't tried any yet, we love the Costco Mac&cheese. Oh, BJ's is also selling more of their house brand cleaning products(they used to have then stopped, have brought them back) like laundry detergent, auto dishwasher tabs. Tried these, on special, they work pretty well.

Hi MScotty! I love BJs cleaning products! I have a huge vat of the dishwasher tabs. I'm waiting to get rid of some Ajax before I buy the BJs brand.

Costco has a deep dish pizza to make you jump through hoops. That's the only prepared dish I've tried at either store.

I love the Berkeley and Jenson laundry pods at BJ's. I bought some a few months ago to try out (with a $3 off coupon) and they're great. I'm heading to my local BJ's today to pick up my normal stuff (butter, tea bags, flounder, flour, etc.) and see what and all else they may have. I've got a relatively short list this month, so I can splurge a little on anything special I find.

garden, let me know what you get! Have fun!!!

BJ's has a LOT of organic products! Not just produce, but frozen veggies and other items.

Re: BJs and Costco...Anything New?

I probably spend a little over $200 week there, not that I go every week but it averages out to that. I buy almost all of my cleaning supplies there for my home and rental business. Toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex, etc... I get veggies and baked goods there. I buy diapers there for when my grandson visits me. Then you can just drop $100 alone on stuff like shampoos, conditioners, skin lotions, etc.. It is very easy to drop that amount there. I probably spend about $1000 a month in Costco alone. I always end up getting stuff that isn't on the list like pj's, books, some kitchen equipment, etc.. I wish there would be a time when I don't end up spending that but I don't think I have ever spent less than $300 there.

Re: BJs and Costco...Anything New?

Oh, sorry. I thought you were asking how can someone spend over $200 a week there. I am like wow, it is easy. Didn't realize you were talking about Halls. Wow that is a lot.

HonnyBrown, the poster taking all the Halls. A couple of months ago I had a really bad URI and was sent to a ENT. They told me that any cough drops with menthol, eucalyptus or camphor in them are bad for you. Those ingredients cause irritation to the skin and make the situation worse, which leads you to take more and more. He gave me a sheet of recommended cough drops without those ingredients and I can't remember them all but one was called Thayers and the other was Ludens. After that I was sent to an appt with a pulmonologist because my cough wasn't going away and the first thing he asked me is "you aren't taking cough drops with menthol, camphor or eucalyptus in them are you?". Just wanted to pass that along.

Re: BJs and Costco...Anything New?

Thanks irish! My cough is gone, but I like the way Halls make my mouth feel. I don't have any adverse effects from them.

Is your cough gone now?
