Am aware of cooking corn on the cob in the microwave - put these into the pot with the pork, etc nearing end of cooking. Flavor was delicious!!!!!!!

Got the new oxygen concentrator last night around 7 - sit all day long with a zillion things to do and it gets here then. Sigh. Must be me as I am so tired of waiting and waiting and waiting. Now today is catch up day - must go to the school to see why they have not contacted me on the kids enrollment. I dread that. They received the info on July 11 and I have not heard a word. Yesterday must have made a million plus one calls - no one seems to know anything. I started trying to get Ricky into pre school in February - can you believe this????

Well am starting my day tired but still have things to do. Another miserably hot day on tap. Sigh.

Fridge is full of leftovers so we should be OK for dinner. LOL

Just got my new Instant Pot so have been using that---last night I cooked up some salsa chicken and we had it in a taco salad with fresh everything to go with it--was amazing!!  Not my first pressure cooker but the first one with all the bells and whistles---is fun!!

no this recipe calls for 2 sticks of butter plus wostershire sauce and other stuff.

good afternoon everyone. really hot today .the feel like temp with heat and humidity is 102. maria and the 7 year old kid she watches were in the pool when her brother the plumber came and disconnected our old gas stove for tomorrow mornings 7 to  10 am delivery of our new stove then john will come back and hook up new stove. place we bought it from could have hooked it up but they wanted 179 dollars to connect and disconnect it.im like no thanks we have plumber in the family so once john left i went outside to join them in pool except i forgot i had my cell phone in my pocket and now i need to go get a new phone and believe this in not my first phone in pool . one other time i came home w\ith a brand new phone and went in pool and ruined the phone i had just got. i could never keep track of how many phones i have ruined. i even took a load of jeans out of the washer only to find my phone plus my shredded checkbook in the washer and list goes on and on.we went to market basket to pick up a couple things and they had lobsters on sale for 4.99 so i got maria 2 and boiled them and cleaned all the meat out and put it in melted butter and made fried fish for me and she made potato  smiles in the air fryer .everything was really good. including going in pool minus the phone issue. hope everyone has a great day.

@Pooky1 LOL!  DD loses cell phones, can't coundt how many she has lost, very frustrating, told her the next one she pays for.

if you go to the frozen french fry part of the frozen section you will see and i think mccains makes them there like french frys but there round smiley faces. inside of them kinda taste like mashed potatoes. so mousiegirl im not the only one ruff on phones. ectually the person that went into phone store right before me allso was replacing there phone from going  into pool with there phone allso.

yuckyAnother scorching day but supposedly this heat waves is ending. Just miserable and I had a couple hours to wait for the company to pick up my old oxygen concentrator and a large tank Decided to go to WM in Beaumont, it is a super WM, looking for the two stick Popsicles which I have not been able to find in any store for two weeks. Read last night that WM carries them. Those bug other Popsicles and a few others are just NOT right for the little ones. These are smaller, have less cheaper and you buy 18 for about $30. Those big Yukky Popsicles are a lot more than that and they are just not tasty So WM had them, only three bags there and I bought all three. Am  beginning to wonder if they are dropping them also - would love to know what is going on. Do know this, the temp there was 116 - scorching and muggy - and they were re-doing a very large area of the parking lot right in front of the store. Had to park way out and lumber in - not a pleasant thing at all and with all the mess they had there were nO places to put your basket. Well I left mine right next to my car - I never do that but I did today - no way I could have taken two more trips in that heat to finally get back to my car. Did not even feel guilty about it. LOL. Miserable. Sure hope the heat is dropping for sure starting tomorrow - it has been so bad.

Still trying to get Ricky in particular in school - another nightmare. Sigh!! We shall see what tomorrow brings.

Just finished giving the little girl her bath. shortly - very shortly - she will be headed to bed and I hope asleep We shall see.

Jack in the Box for dinner - not my style but was not up to doing anything in the kitchen. Stay cool everyone.

Hi everyone!  I hope it's ok if I join in the fun.

I don't really cook much due to my work schedule, however when I do, I'm a very happy girl.  About 3 weeks ago I treated myself to a instant pot.  Husband said, you will never use it.  I have used it twice a week since I got it.  This thing is amazing!  This week will be green peppers and not sure what else.

I tend to cook enough for leftovers for at least one night.
