Depending on which ones you buy, they have snack bars which don't have huge protein amounts, low carb -- basically a snack bar or treat bar.
Then there are light snack or light meal bars, which are an in between. A little more protein, again low carb.
Then they have the actual meal bars. They have the most calories (anywhere from 200-up to about 250 I think) They have the highest amount of protein, usually 15g and up, low carb, higher fat content. They are easy to take with you if you need a quick bite.
They use net carbs because of subtracting fiber amounts and using sugar alcohols (sweeteners) instead of sugar.
I like some of the Atkins products more just for post workout or a snack. I don't use them for total meal replacements.
