I think I am going to get one tomorrow. I have a 16 oz one from Walmart without some of the neat little features of this one and it cost me $20. I love mine and know this larger one will serve me well. I also want to say that I really liked the woman on with Ric tonight. What a breath of fresh air she was. She was very enjoyable. Of course it is usually hard to get a word in edgeways with Ric but she did fine. Hope to see her back.

@allaries, was that you who just spoke on air with Leah and the Ninja rep? The caller mentioned the same things you did in your post. If it was you, you did an excellent job!!!!!

This looks like the same unit I have. I got mine as a "while supplies last" price last year (I think LOL!).
Virtually the same price within cents.
I LOVE mine (I got the red).
Be careful though, that baby is SHARP!!! I found out the hard way LOL!!!

We use ours often for smoothies, make a lot of fresh fruit smoothies.
Salads like egg salad, tuna salad etc.
General chopping of onions, nuts etc.
We make "sherbet" or "ice cream".
Dips, gravies, salsas.
Slushy frozen-ish margaritas etc.
Bread crumbs, crackers crumbs, cookie crumbs for toppings.
Salad dressings.
Milk shakes (of course!!!)

I ordered one too, and cannot wait to get it, it seems to do so many things for just daily cooking and can get rid of my old smoothie maker!

@ChiliPepper, or anyone who knows, with the motor on and running, is there a way to drizzle in olive oil for making emulsions?
