Can anyone recommend a artificial sweetner that does not have an overpowering artificial taste.  I just tried Swerve brown sugar formula, and it is horrible.  Don't know if I'll get the aftertaste out of my mouth.  Blood sugar is elevated, so I'm looking for alternatives for cooking and daily use.

TIA

I use Splenda Naturals Stevia. There is no after taste.

I use Splenda Naturals Stevia, as well.  I use it in tea, on food etc.  No aftertaste.

I love Pyure blend. Looks and tastes like sugar. You can bake and cook with it just like you would with sugar. Pyure is a blend of stevia and erythritol (artificial). That blend with those two sweeteners takes away any funny aftertaste. It works.

I also use Splenda.  I've never noticed a difference.  I've used it for many years.

What I do, for example, for the pumpkin pies I make this time of year is use about 2/3 to 3/4 Splenda and 1/4 to 1/3 refined sugar.    You'd never know.  The pies are great.

I, too, use Splenda as I can cook with it.  I often replace half the sugar when I bake.  I've never found a good brown sugar substitute.  They all taste funky.

I like splenda too.The only one I've tried that doesn't have an aftertaste.

I think stevia has an awful chemical taste and I just tried swerve and think it has an aftertaste too.

I like monk fruit but you need a lot to make anything sweet and it is very expensive.

Splenda Naturals is actually not natural at all. It contains the artificial sweetener erythritol blended with natural stevia. When erythritol is blended with stevia, it helps take away any aftertaste you get from stevia alone.

@SilleeMee    Pyure sounds like it's the same thing as Splenda.  What's the difference except packaging?
