OMG, this list is so long... I have 2 Food Savers, I have I thing 3 different Ninja kitchen appliances bought a while back and I now have a Vitamix so no need for them. I have that Rocket Grill. I have two food processors and one on my counter never used "lol" I hand grate mostly. A few Pressure Cookers scared to death to use and then there are the multiple knives and knife sets . I also own many Deep Fryers. My list goes on.... I need to purge.

I use my GT Express at east 3-4 times a week; love that it is small and takes up little space. I don't have room in my horribly tiny kitchen to keep anything I don't use.....so I either use or donate.

Why not donate your unused appliances? Habitat for Humanity usually takes working appliances (to sell in their thrift stores or if still in good shape they can go into their new houses) and so do many other charities like Goodwill, etc.

I can honestly say we don't have anything that we don't use. My DH is the cook in our house, and he hates all those little extra appliances taking up counter space, so we don't own any of those kitchen gadgets. We just have the basics: toaster, blender, mixer, can opener, and crock pot. Oh, and he has a small food chopper that he uses a lot.

I moved everything out. I had 2 George foreman grills that were never used. Now when I hear about the last greatest kitchen gadget, I remind myself that I don't need it. I cook simple, so I don't need any fancy gadgets.

On 4/13/2014 wagirl said:l"m done with the Rocket Grill and a T-Fal food processor, blender, juicer combo that is made out of plastic. Also have a electric frying pan from CE. Will be getting rid of my pots and pans that are non stick too. Also have a ricer from Williams Sonoma that is gorgeous but I can't get my hands around it.
I too have the Rocket Grill never used.

Mine don't exactly go into a graveyard, because I do bring them back to life from time to time. For example, I have a quesadilla maker that I haven't used in a couple of years, but I rediscovered it recently, cleaned it all up, and started looking at the recipe booklet again. Now I'm off to buy supplies to make crab rangoon quesadillas. I just love rediscovering a forgotten appliance; it satisfies my urge to get something new. It's not that I didn't care for the appliance to begin with, it's just that not all my appliances are for every day use, so if I go on a quesadilla kick for a few weeks, I then put it away and find another toy to play with for awhile.
I can honestly say that I don't have any duds that I wish I didn't buy. I enjoy them all, but at different times and in different ways.

That's why I ask myself how often will I use another kitchen gadget before I buy. I bought a mini cuisinart food chopper about four years ago, I use it occassionaly, I'm so glad I didn't buy the large eleven cup food processor. It would be collecting dust in my pantry.

My third breadmaker is headed to the Goodwill box, along with the Wolfgang Puck piemaker, the first generation Ninja, a reconditioned juicer. There's more, but those come most immediately to mind. What a waste. I'm downsizing for once & for all; no more kitchen gadgets. Period.
