Appetizer to Dessert - What is your signature menu?

If you were asked to make one dinner, app to dessert,  that best demonstrated your cooking style and preferences, what would you cook?

I'm still thinking about mine. I'll post it a little later on.

I don't do appetizers but dinner would be fried pork chops, mashed potatoes, some sort of corn side dish or a salad, maybe bread n butter. Dessert would be apple cake. We don't eat fancy around here.

Thank you for all the responses.

I though a lot about this and decided to post my ultimate family comfort food menu, rather than something special.

  • small spinach salad (no meat or cheese)
  • meatloaf with brown gravy
  • mashed potatoes
  • frozen mixed veggies with butter
  • strawberry ice cream with chocolate sauce and whipped cream

Re: Appetizer to Dessert - What is your signature menu?

my appetizer is homemade salsa

main dish would either be Chile Verde and Chicken Enchiladas

side would be mexican rice

dessert would be either be brownies or a chocolate toffee caramel cake or white chocolate macadamia nut cookies.  If you ask my family, they would probably want all three.

if the weather is cold, the family always asks for some type of all-day-in-the-crock-pot soup - either Zuppa Tuscana, Pasta ******ioli or Chicken Vegetable (no noodles)

Re: Appetizer to Dessert - What is your signature menu?

I am in the PNW so my meal would have to include fresh seafood as we have an abundance of it.

Crab spread with crackers.

Fresh King salmon
Salad with apples and cheese (apple season)
Rice pilaf

Homemade ice cream
