Re: Anyone getting the Croissant TSV?

The way they are raved about and the demo's really tempt me. I bet they are fabulous, but I just can't do it, in good conscience.

My neighbor buys them and she gave me two and they are melt in your mouth delicious.

Re: Anyone getting the Croissant TSV?

I broke down and bought the 72-count with a one-time delivery. While I can make croissants, it is very time consuming, and it is hard to make them for this price. since they will last for a while, this number should be a six-month supply for us.

No, not getting them. I've ordered them twice now. I ordered the regular size and another time the mini size (which I liked). They are good but I find them a bit too greasy for me and way too high in calories!

THEY ARE CROISSANTS!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

They are made with a lot of butter, as they are supposed to be. They are SUPPOSED to be high in fat. (If baked correctly, they are NEVER greasy).

If you want something with less fat and calories, go to WalMart and buy some 'light' bread, flat bread, or make some crepes.

I have to say that Trader Joes has a box of mini croissants that are FABULOUS! And just a couple of bucks. I would do that over buying this TSV. Whole foods sells them too from their bakery.

I love TJ's croissants! They label them as mini but when you let them defrost they bake up to a very large and tasty croissant.

Re: Anyone getting the Croissant TSV?

I had it in my cart, but I forgot to finish the order. Time got away from me. So did the croissants.

Re: Anyone getting the Croissant TSV?

I received my croissants and they are delicious. I also wanted to correct nutritional info on these. I think someone posted that they are 270 calories. The calorie count on the bag is 150 and the fat content is around 8 grams. Just in case it matters to anyone. I was glad for the readings.
