All blenders are very noisy.  Haven't you seen them put the much-loved Vitamix in a box during David's shows so they can talk?

tee hee, tee hee, yep. I had a juicer made by that Australian Co. starts with a 'B'. Braveti, something like that and that thing sounded like a train coming thru the kitchen. Gave it to my nephew. He uses it down in the basement.

 

Don't know why they can't make vacumns and kitchen appliances less noisy.
