@Sooner, I enjoy tea... of course starting with my Deep South upbringing and the ubiquitous sweet tea!😊 And I later found that I really like the pleasures of soothing hot teas. But I strayed away from them, so I don't have suggestions to offer but am reading your thread and all of the contributions with delight! Can't wait to try some of these.
Just this past weekend I was looking for @GingerPeach who often shared her enticing tea discoveries, along with associated charming teapots and cups, inviting everyone to add their favorites.... I've been missing her, and hope she's well and will join in here.❤️
Thanks for this thread, @Sooner!❤️

@dooBdoo The house wine of the South! LOL!!! I guess we are far enough that being a foot in the Southwest we are drinkers of iced tea straight up--no sugar.
When we go South it's always a surprise to the waitress, and they may be a little suspicious of us sometimes!
I am not big on really highly flavored teas, but some of the ones with the more natural taste are wonderful--a few of the fruits and one or two with vanilla.

@Sooner I can easily be suckered in to new tea sites....so I have to restrain myself.
Blueberry Lavender from Republic of Tea - a daily mid morning "beauty" ritual. I usually order from their website, and they always send interesting samples.
Also from Republic - (@ 5 o'clock) the Ginger Peach decaf.
My all-time favs are Harney's Boston & then the Apricot.
I'm looking for an Amaretto Cherry. I see Adagio has one...

@Harpa The only one I know that comes even close is The a l'Opera by Mariage Freres. Online Market Hall Foods has it--but I haven't had it and it is a green tea I think.
Another is Montagne d’Or is a soft black tea with mild notes of green apple and stone fruit with subtle floral aromas. Doesn't say cherry however!
That brand does make absolutely wonderful vanilla flavored teas, however. And Black Orchid. VERY exotic! LOL!!!

I love this tea. Occasionally, I will put a cinnamon stick in it as well. Yummy!

Twinings IRISH Breakfast tea - love it.
I drank Red Rose my whole life. Went to London in '13 and tried Twinings English and Irish Breakfast teas. Prefer the Irish. We've been drinking it ever since.
I like strong black tea - not flavored or herbal ones. With milk and sugar or sweetener.

@FranandZoe The English Tea Store online has Twinings teas that they say are imported from England--brands we know but not the US version which sometimes is a different blend. A friend swears they are stronger versions that those sold commonly in the U.S.
They also carry Taylor's of Harrogate, and Barry's and Bewley teas--which are strong.
It might be fun to check them out!

Another vote for Tea Forte. They have some really nice collections.

@Sooner This is our favorite tea. I used to buy it at a Middle Eastern market in Syracuse NY. Haven't been there in a few years so I don't even know if the market is still there. I see Amazon sells it but I have no idea how fresh it is...DW
@dancingwoman I also buy Ahmad, but I get the Special Blend. I buy it in a mid eastern market.

I'm a coffee drinker and do not like tea at all EXCEPT for Teavana Citrus Lavender. It has apple, lemon verbena, candied pineapple, rose hips, orange peel, licorice root, lavender and chamomile in the blend. It is really delicious and could make a tea drinker out of me. Anyone else ever try this?
