Re: Any one have a counter top ice cube maker?

@SouthernBee

That's what I need for our garage.

We did order the GE online from Home Depot because that's who had it available. Took 6 months to get it after it was finally available to order.

I wonder what it's going to take for LG to deal with their faulty compressor? My SIL was involved in the lawsuit. She got back so much money to use on new refrigerator.

The inside of the refrigerators are flimsy. Not made like they used to be that's for sure. I don't like the smaller produce drawers either. That's why I want a garage ready refrigerator for the garage so I can get the old one out of the dining room. We need more space for all the fruit I buy. Plus in the summer we need space for the garden stuff. My Whirlpool also has texture to it.

Glad you found something plus saved some money. We had to pay more due to Covid.

Our delivery people didn't work for Home Depot either. The same delivery people brought our stove & refrigerator. They had a 3 hour round trip to deliver the refrigerator. They also deliverded our washing machine.

Can't believe they just taped the water line to the back of the refrigerator? They could have at least told you that you had to take care of that?

Hope you feel better soon.

Re: Any one have a counter top ice cube maker?

@Nightowlz : Thank you. You also had a lot to deal with.

Both LG and Samsung . Plus what I understand that Samsung had multiple issues.

When we purchased our Speed Queen washer at a local appliance company: When we walked in the front door everything was Samsung. He talked about all the great features before we could ask him about the Speed Queen that was located in the very back of the store. I told him that we had three different brands that failed under 5 years and ready for something else. We purchased the Speed Queen dryer a year later. To think that my cooktop, double wall oven and microwave are 6 years and praying that they will last a few more years.

We have a countertop ice maker and love it.  The current rental we live in has a cheap-****** basic refrigerator/freezer without an ice maker.  We bought one from Best Buy & gosh it paid for itself in no time!  It beats buying bagged ice every week!

  1. @Nightowlz : My friend had a better cell phone and camera and took photos of fridge delivery damage. Lowe's already gave credit to account with out photos $104. Photos. Taken today:IMG_3270(1).jpg I am concerned about this one because it is underneath the freezer door.
  2. The next one is a scratch and smudge print on the front of the fridge door.
  3. Trying to make corrections since only 3 photos posted. I left a message for the salesman to call me . I need to determine how the delivery damage can now be documented with details and photos .But praying no future problems.

I would not be happy with that. I would have told them to take it back & deliver a new refrigerator that I paid for?

@Nightowlz : The photo under the fridge door not taken until today. I couldn't bend down to see it and only touch and feel. They said just package material and will come off. They said the other spots could be rubbed off with a microfiber cloth.

I called Lowe's and asked for the salesman to return my call but didn't. Trying to determine whom to call and get this documented and corrected.

Re: Any one have a counter top ice cube maker?

I purchased the GE Profile Opal 2.0 countertop ice maker and I love it. It makes the small pellet ice.  It does keep the ice frozen and when ice begins ro melt it kicks on and reuses the melted ice to make fresh ice.  It always has a bucket of ice ready for you.   I purchased it from Amazon during the fall prime days.  It was over $100 off.  Amazon even offers interest free monthly payments with prime membership.  I believe mine was divided up over 5 months.
