Re: Any one get their Rangemate TSV yet?

I got mine and cooked salmon fillets. Awesome! I now have lunch for tomorrow. They were also frozen and took about 4 minutes and 4 minutes.

{#emotions_dlg.thumbup} Got mine today! Couldn't wait to grill some vegetables...... AWESOME!!!! Can't believe how great they turned out! The recipe booklet has some good recipes but you can find more if you google 'range mate grilled vegetables' ... the 5th one down is called 'RangeMateUSA' grilling chart for meats .... and it's the recipe booklet from the first rectangular grill, more recipes there. I think I'm gonna like this!

Thanks. I found rangemate.com but this one has more information.

rangemateusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/grillpan-manual.pdf

Scroll down to the grilling chart for meats - (power level: 700w)
Hamburger Pattie - patties should be l/2 - 3/4" thick.
Spray with cooking spray i would imagine because the booklet says to always use a spray, oil or a liquid. Grill patties 5-6 min., turn over and grill 2-3 min more.
Always cover the grill while microwaving.
For more well done, when cooking is complete, let sit in the grill awhile and it will cook more because the grill is still very hot.
I also think the booklet with the original grill has more information.

We used our Rangemate for the first time tonight. Cooked steak. It came out pretty good. The only complaint I have is that the recipe book is very light on basic cooking instructions.

Re: Any one get their Rangemate TSV yet?

You really don't need a lot of recipes, just cook what you'd normally make. The important thing is the timing. Once you get an idea of how long to cook something, you've got it. That's why there are no directions for a hamburger. After you've done one, you know how long to cook it. Make it any way you like.

Re: Any one get their Rangemate TSV yet?

Thanks BigOrangeKitty for posting the pdf file for the original Rangemate. I just used the new Rangemate TSV for grilled vegetables that was in the original recipe pdf file.

I made a double recipe and they were done after 20 minutes (did 5 minutes at a time) and then browned them on the stove in a pan for 4 minutes. Delicious. The next time if I make the amount for the recipe I think it would be just right.

I can see I will use this often.

Thanks to all the posters that reply and help us out. I try and do the same when I can.

Oh, no need to brown the veggies on the stove, they brown nicely in the RangeMate. I made one big serving by tossing them in the olive oil and seasoning and microwaved them for 5 min., took them out and stirred them, microwaved another 3 min. and they were browned and soooooo good! You're welcome for the pdf file.

Re: Any one get their Rangemate TSV yet?

I received mine yesterday and plan to use it tonight to make Italian sausage and veggies. Then, I will make the carmelized bananas for dessert. I think this is something that the more I use, the more ideas I will come up with on my own.
