Re: Any Good Frozen Pizzas?

Back in the day, when we were feeding teenage eating machines, I often bought Jack's because they'd often go on a 4/$10 sale.  I no longer buy any frozen pizza.  I'll either make keto pizza at home or order locally and just eat the tops.

When I was low carbing ( and in better shspe) I would make an 8 x 8  "pizza casserole". I'd put pizza toppings I like, equivalent of a Supreme pizza, layered on top no sugar added sauce and cheese and bake at 400 for  20minutes.

Anyway, back to topic, for cheap frozen I like Tombstone quite a bit. For splurge frozen, Screamin' Sicilian for sure.

I love Screamin Sicilian and also love Paul Newman's pizzas.

I love California Pizza Kitchen (wish there was one near me - I think the closest is in Sacto) and they made a chicken one, but not the bbq chicken, that I LOVED and used to also sell it as a frozen one in stores.

At some point I stopped finding it and I was so bummed.  I wish I could remember the rest of it.  I just remember chicken and not bbq.  It wasn't any kind of red sauce, so maybe a parm sauce (?).

Used to go there and get half a Chinese chicken salad, and we'd share one of these pizzas.  Plus, I loved their Bloody Marys.

If it's their 'Roasted Garlic Chicken Pizza', check for stores here: https://www.goodnes.com/cpk-frozen/products/roasted-garlic-chicken-pizza/

Hi!  Thanks for your response.  Alas, that's not it but it's driving me crazy since I forgot the rest.   I need to ask my husband if he remembers.   Smiley Happy

@chickenbutt The BBQ chicken one we love in OKC has a great made-on-site crust and has white meat chicken bits, white cheese, and rather than a pizza sauce has Head Country BBQ sauce drizzled in rings on top. And my side has piles and piles of cilantro on top!  Husband's side?  Two cilantro leaves.  Woman Very Happy

Head Country is not as thick and overly sweet as most bbq sauce you find, and has just enough smoky hint to be spicy and sweet and wonderful!  If you ever happen on to it give it a try!  It is an Oklahoma product too!  Woman Wink

@Sooner  responded to @cindyNC I always come here for good ideas and these folks don't lead me astray!  They often keep me from making poor choices--and always give me tips!  I feel very fortunate to have them.

Ok, then I'll add my 2 cents.

DiGiorno thin crust pepproni or Screamin Scilian pepproni (which I can't spell)

We like Digiorno but will only buy them when they are on sale.

To us, they aren't worth full price.

I'll pick up 1 or 2 "ready to cook pizzas" in the Fresh Market deli and throw them in the freezer.

I would think your more "special" grocery stores would have really good pizzas.

I'd prefer frozen meatballs sauce and noodles where I can control the starch in a serving by having less noodles.

@ECBG But noodles aren't pizza.  They are wet noodles. Woman Frustrated
