So Giada made a weird sandwich that someone posted about and here's another one she made.
She sliced a lemon, peel and all, including seeds, and tossed the slices into a bowl. She added a couple of spoonfuls of sugar and stirred it around. Then she took slices of bread and spread butter on them, then she sprinkled parm cheese on the buttered slices. She placed the sugared lemon (with the peels and seeds still on them) onto the unbuttered side of one of the slices, put MOOZ-a-RELL-a cheese on top of the sugared lemon and put the other slice of bread on top (with parmasean cheese on the outsides) and grilled it. The peel and seeds are still on the lemon people!!!! And she put sugar on the lemon!!! What!

No thanks, I wouldn't want it. I've seen her make other odd things as well, maybe she just does it to feel like she's in the know....whatever....I don't want to know what she knows, she can keep her weird food.

Her recipes are really odd at times. I think the television chefs just make up these crazy combinations to fill air time. There have been reviews in the past from people that have tried to make some of her recipes, and they complained they were horrible.

Do not care what she makes. I cannot watch her. So full of herself.

I don't know who the lady is but I do remember my oldest daughter used to eat lemons (chewing on the peel too).
The dentist told her to not do that that the acid in the lemon peel and the juice was really bad for the enamel on her teeth.

Is she bored?

You should put this recipe in the Favorite Lemon Recipes thread in the Recipes forum!
Yes, I would say this is a strange combination for a sandwich.
There is a recipe for carrot salad with sauteed lemon slices - peel on, but not with sugar. I made that already, and it was quite tasty.

I've never been impressed with Giada's recipes or shows. When I did watch, her recipes were either extremely basic or bizarre such as the sugared lemon/mozzarella sandwich.

I have not cooked any of Giada's recipes and have watched her show only a couple of times. Neither her food or her show appealed to me. I think she is on the "odd" side.
