Amazon Prime Wow!

[ Edited ]

While on Amazon deciding to purchase a Cookbook or two, I was considering to pay for Amazon Prime. The price now for everyone is 99.00's. Not sure I want to pay that every year. Will you?

I've had Prime for a couple of years. Well worth it for me.

Yes!

Our first year was 'free' - we watched all episodes of Foyle's War. The DVD Box Set price was the same as one year of Amazon Prime.

We consider it a great value.

Yes. I love having Prime. It actually is only $8.25/month if you think of it like that. I find it a great deal, especially since I get heavy bags of dog food delivered every month. It is great for free Kindle books! I also like the new Prime Pantry, but they need to beef up their stock a bit. You can order singles, rather than having to purchase pantry items in bulk. Neat concept, just needs more variety, but I'm sure that will come.

I do not know why this is a surprise. Amazon announced the price increase last year during the autumn. It was all over the news and all over the QVC forums for days.

I have had Prime for four years now, and I love it. For the record, my annual charge for the service hit my credit card just last night, but I use it so often, I really cannot complain.

Love it too! Saves time and I buy most staples from Amazon. I always check Amazon first for a purchase. I find buying staples at Amazon helps my budget because I spend less time browsing the market. I mainly shop the perimeter for fresh Items which have helped me maintain a healthy BMI. Great place for Levis!

I let mine go this time

I was using it to order stuff for my mother but no longer need that, and sometimes things are not coming in 2 days but via the dreaded smart post!

Needs change

I've been using it for the last two years, mainly for shipping, but I'm starting to get into the streaming video aspect through my Apple TV. Luckily, I won't have to pay the higher price until 12/14 so I have time to evaluate if I want to continue at the higher price.
