DH is lactose intolerant. I've been buying plain Almond Milk at Aldi's for him, he mainly uses it to eat cereal. I was raised drinking cow's milk and have been using 1% for the last two hundred, (give or take) years. Well, I read the label on the Almond milk and tasted it. I don't drink milk by the glass, but I use it in smoothies, cereal, some baking recipes, etc. I can't really tell the difference! I was told to avoid Soy milk d/t plant estrogens. Has anyone been able to swap Almond milk in all their recipes that call for cow's milk?
