Have any of you bought the granite topped kitchen island  they ssell once a year?   it is a special buy for next week.

I've never been in that store but someone I know well has and she says the store (at least the one near me) stinks and smells all of the time like sour milk.

I only go to Harris Teeter and sometimes Giant Food which is a chain here on the East coast.  I get about 4  special things I only like there and not much else.

At the Harris Teeter I order on line and drive up and they put it in my car.  I used to love grocery shopping but these days with the floor so hard it kills my back and knees.  I miss seeing all of my friends though.  My late husband used to say, "Why does it take you so long to grocery shop"?  He NEVER went to the store.  My daughter's husbands do most of the grocery shopping and neither daughter works.  The men like to go.

I am obsessed with Harris Teeter the way some are with Aldi!  I LOVE their stores but we don't have them here!  I have to go on vacation!  LOL!  It's our last stop on the way back to stock up with grits and other local fare.
