The mattress box was on wheels and had a handle on the side.  It was a little awkward maneuvering it through the store and to my car.  A nice gentleman helped me put it in my car.  Hubby brought it inside.  It was nicely rolled up in 3 layers of plastic.

Oh @HonnyBrown I so wish (and also more than envy) you that mattress.  I know the technology improves every year so I bet you are going to love it!

I had to giggle about including a handle and wheels on the box.  I guess it wasn't just me that wrenched their back on that thing . . . tee hee!

mtc, I slept so well last night!  I didn't have to use hubby as my leg rest, so I know he appreciated it to.

I used the contour pillow and that felt great also.  I'm going to bed early tonight just for the fun of it.

I did notice the difference in getting out of bed.  I didn't put my finger on it until later.

Oh @HonnyBrown I am so glad you are pleased with your mattress!  I know I love mine but always worry about recommending something like this as it is very different than a normal coil mattress (including the shall we say dismount) . . .

mtc, I still haven't noticed any problem getting in or out of bed.  I am sleeping longer and calmer.  That bed feels so good!

They are going to have simmer sauces tomorrow.  I use them to make a baked rice dish.  I am definitely going to stock up this weekend!

@HonnyBrownI'm just glad you are happy with the mattress and sleeping better.  I know how much I love mine and don't wake up with as much stiffness anymore.

Those simmer sauces must be in your area only.  I just got this week's ads and they aren't in there.  Just three pages of baby related items.

Mtc & Honeybrown~ you caught my interest with the matress talk. Do you put this matress over a regular matress? Is it hot? I wake up every night and throw the covers off because of hypothyroidism and some other health problems. My hubby doesn't sleep too well either-recently had back surgery. I am interested in knowing what this is. I shop Aldis all the time, but somehow this got by me.

@rosehill, I have a full, queen size foam mattress that I bought from Amazon which I liked but I then threw a foam mattress topper from Costco over it and I am very happy with the combination.  I had problems with pressure points during the night and the memory foam can really help.

As I have an older mattress, mine can be a bit warm but then again I am always warm anyway.  The newer versions are designed better and have eliminated a lot of the heat.

As your husband just had back surgery, I would speak with his doctor about whether this would be a good choice for him (maybe a mattress topper may be a better option for you) plus a full size king foam mattress is going to be very heavy and dense.  They come in very compact boxes and start to expand instantly once released from their wrapping.  The reason why I caution about this is because when trying to shove my queen size box up the stairs I really threw out my back and I am not prone to that type of injury.  To this day it can still flair up so if you have someone that could help you with the logistics with one of these I would ask them to lend you a hand.

Please know I am not trying to talk you out of purchasing one of these whatsoever as I truly love mine but they are different and these are just a couple of points to keep in mind.

rosehill, I bought the queen size memory foam mattress to replace my coil mattress.  I put it over the existing box spring, and topped it with the mattress pad also purchased at Aldi.  They aren't hot at all.

In the store, the mattresses are in large boxes in the pallet area.  Check it out, they may have the king sized ones.

Today I bought an English cucumber and other ingredients to make a Greek Pasta Salad.  The canned Kalamata olives were $2.79.

I picked up Indian simmer sauces, Thai cooking sauces, take out Pad Thai, minim egg rolls, a gyro pizza, a cubano pizza, red pepper jelly, canned tomatoes with habaneros, bean sprouts, trail mix,  a big chicken and a little pork butt.

The eggs were $0.79 a dozen, but I didn't get any since I have a dozen in the fridge.

mtc, the frozen fried chicken is back!
