Hi mtc!  That may be for the best.  I have a tendancy to buy a gadget, use it for a few months, then put it aside. I'm surprised I'm still using my crock pot.

The item I have my eye on this week is the diced prosciutto.

mtc, I really need to look at the paper ads because they are more accurate than the app.  Baby steps!

My stepsons are here this weekend.  I went to BJ's with my shopping list for the weekend.  I walked out with ground turkey because I wanted to make chili today.  Aldi's really does have the best prices!

I finally just got this week's ads about a half hour ago but when checking out the ads for next week I spied a breakfast pizza with my name on it (breakfast is my favorite meal).

I forgot to ask you, I'm not sure if it's in this thread or another one (maybe the Ronco Rotisserie one?) where they mentioned the one at Aldi didn't have some kind of a heat shield so maybe I dodged a bullet on that one plus I am obsessed with that gadget I found on Amazon . . . Smiley Happy

Breakfast Pizza?  I saw that. My kids will love that, but I want them to make one. Oh, I saw the breakfast PITA next week maybe!

I think the rotisserie discussion was another thread.

The Mosher Roth chocolate bars are THE BEST.  I buy 5-6 at a time.  I have tried alot of chocolate , and this is so creamy and rich.  I get the dark chocolate with Chili.  I wasnt sure what to think when I first bought this because of the Chili but it gives it a really nice "warmth".  Also love the portioning on these,  I eat 1 bar from the package each night, its perfect.

jp4, my kids love LOVE the chocolate bars!  That reminds me, I have to pick some up tomorrow.

The Little One found a whole hidden bar that I was trying to save for myself.  I told him to share it with the Big One.  He started whining and I told him "I'm sharing with you, so you have to share with your brother."

He said "Fine. I'll share 1/18."

Re: Aldi's Revisited :-)

[ Edited ]

Today's haul: diced pancetta, chicken parmesan pizza, frozen honey ginger chicken meal, frozen sweet and sour chicken meal, parmesan kettle chips, smoked gouda cheese bites, wings and wing sauce, a bottom roast and a little chicken.

The pork loin kit I made last week (in the oven) inspired me to try a pot roast in the crock pot. I seasoned the roast, chopped celery, onions and potatoes, and dropped everything in with some baby carrots. An hour after cooking, I added some water and vinegar.

Edit to add: I picked up a jar of muffaletta salad and two cans of yellowfin tuna.
