Congrats on your win milkbone!  You may want to get a deep freezer also.  My teenage boys take care of the excess here, but the fridge has bulged on a few occasions!

I've gotten some amazing things from the middle aisle.  The brands are off name, but great quality. I've gotten a cyclone vacuum, steam mop, clarisonic, electric foot file, a big trash can, house plants, bathroom rugs and bins, a hamper, gloves, Glade vent clips, Febreeze.

Foodwise, I regularly get sandwich thins, garlic, bagged kale, half and half, red pesto, onions, organic avocados, cheesecake slices, gouda cheese bite snacks, k-cups, pork chops and a little chicken.

@HonnyBrown

Thanks for the product reviews.

Last year I grew Kale for the first time(Feb 2015) Some of the plants are still producing !

Snow and ice !

My goal is to buy as much as I can on promotion, pricematching, then base my meal planning on my inventory !

I have my eye on a few silicon baking dishes, I really doubt they will still be there on my next "run"

Do a GOOGLE search

Aldi and "haul"

Many YouTubes on it !

For now, I think this will hurt the WalMart, 3/4 away.

My Aldi has late sleepers....BUT at 10:AM here they come !

Thanks all

The Aldi brand Granola(1.79) is killing me !!!!!  MUNCH MUNCH !

You are very welcome!

My husband loves the maple granola!  I have to stock up on that on Wednesday when I go for Asian Theme Week.

I go to the grocery store/BJs/Target once every 3 months now.  I base my meals on what I can get from Aldi's and that works out pretty well.  It's amazing what you can do with onions, garlic and bell peppers as a base!

Also, make sure you check the corner of the store by the meats.  There are sometimes some middle aisle items there also.

their Specialty Selected brand is outstanding, I picked up a BBQ chicken flatbread pizza and it was scrumptious. Also have been buying their almond butter, unrefined virgin coconut oil, and rosemary bread. Really other than produce, I am very pleased with everything.

I'm done with P.C. Just say what you mean and mean what you say. It's easier.

Hi 60s!  I see the rosemary bread and I'm intrigued by it.  Do you have to cook it?  Is it large enough to make sandwiches?

On Saturday, I bought some frozen country fried steak.  I was hesitant before because I wasn't fond of their frozen meats.

There are five in the bag and I made three.  I was impressed!  The taste and texture excellent and they were seasoned perfectly!

These were a weekly special a few weeks ago.  I hope, but doubt, there will be any left this week.

I made the frozen enchiladas that I picked up on Saturday.  What a bust!  White rice, no sauce and microscopic pieces of chicken. But it was packaged nicely.

Re: Aldi's Revisited :-)

[ Edited ]

I made a spontaneous trip to Aldi's yesterday.  I had no bags or mental shopping list.

I got a pork roast kit, shrimp and crab ravioli, plates and rice bowls, a broiler pan, crock pot liners, hoisin dipping sauce, coconut milk, knives, ginger honey wok sauce, country fried steak, pork egg rolls, Glade vent clips for my car, a sesame teryaki skillet.

The smallest chicken they had was 5.5 pounds.  That's too big for my crock pot, so no little chicken this week.

The pork kit is made for the crock pot, but I'm going to cook it in the oven.

Edit: I also got a bag of black bean noodles, cheese puffs, and noodle bowls.

I noticed that my car had a...funky smell.  Turns out, one of my grocery bags from Aldi's didn't make it into the house. Of course, it was meat and fresh produce. And a little chicken!

I had to walk through the middle aisle to get to the cashier. I noticed that the weekly specials for tomorrow were stocked already.

I went to the cashier and got a full cash refund.

mtc, I saw the rotisserie. I'll wait for your review before I buy it!

I won't be buying the rotisserie HB, it's just not in the budget right now plus I found something on Amazon that I think will be the answer to everything I am looking for.

I have to go look at their specials for this week so I can ignore those too . . . Smiley Happy
