Air Frying Frozen French Fries

I recently purchased the Air Fryer and have tried frozen french fries multiple times but they are never crispy some are burned some are still soft. Any helpful hints?

I shake the basket about every 5 minutes during cooking, that way the fries cook evenly. My fries come out perfectly.

I do the exact same thing @enw5002.  Perfect every time.

Sometimes I put a little oil on the fries.     I shake them often too.

I spritz mine with coconut oil spray with no propellants. Some frozen fries don't need it but some do. I also sprinkle with Penzey's seasoned salt. It will not stick without a little spray. I generally make the shoestring fries. Checkers fries don't need any added oil. I also shake the basket during cooking more then once.

Yes, I agree with shaking more often, and not overcrowding the basket with too many fries.

Ditto for me. Shaking the basket or using tongs to move them around. I usually spray a bit of oil with my Misto sprayer.

Dont know if this will help you, but I use a higher temp then what they recommend and leave them in longer. I do spray lightly with olive oil.  I shake the basket about 1/2 way thru.

I just use the Copper Chef Oven Crisper for my French fries - works very well.
