Re: After 21 Years, Chris Pryme is Retiring

Working Gal -  I am Greeneyes007 and I commented regarding Chris leaving. I agree with your comment about more to say good-bye. I was watching as well and I started crying.  Even though Chris was via skype - QVC could have done much better.

I'm wondering if the 7 pm show will have a small send off.  I have to say, the huge container with what, popcorn inside?  The hosts comments will be dear to her, but I was a bit surprised when I saw "we have a little something for you".

I had not heard her hubs passed.  Sorry to  hear that.

I really like Chris.  She just seemed really down to earth with good ideas and is a great sales person.  So many of these hosts are so phony in their enthusiasm, but she came across super genuine.

Inexperienced sales people could take a lesson from her.  Happy retirement Chris!!

@justashopper   Yes, Chris' husband passed in 2019.

Did she mention who will take over her role?  The original rep, Patty, also seems like a sweet, authentic person, but it's hard to listen to her because she says, "And you know what?" constantly. Unfortunately, being a lovely person doesn't automatically qualify someone for being a good host.

A couple of you have hinted about Carolyn Gracie.  While she was always one of my favorite hosts, I think she's out there living her best life rigtht now and don't imagine she'd return.

Actually, QVC, if you're listening and you'd like a short, fluffy old lady who loves L&L.. I'm available.

I think that Jill will take over.

I'm pretty sure Patti Kramer will just take on all of the presentations for LocknLock; they never really needed two reps for the same product and she has tons of experience.

NO one can replace Chris. The other hosts are trying, but not succeding.

Chris made me order LocknLock. She  always seemed so cheerful & excited to be on air there.

So sorry to learn that her husband passed.

I wish nothing but the very best for Chris & happy trails to her wherever she wanders to!!
