I am a newbie to pressure cooking and was wondering if the accessory packs sold on amazon and such places are useful? I realize it depends mostly on the individual, but I am debating...The more I look around, seems the more confused I get, lol. Is there a really good accessory set..? I have the IP Lux60 6qt.. Thanks!!

You don't say what is included in these accessory packs. I've been using a pressure cooker over 50 years and the only accessory I ever needed was a rack to set certain foods on. I think all the PCs I currently own came with a rack. I would use your PC for awhile then decide if you need anything else, and by the way, there are thousands of recipes online so you really don't even need a cookbook.

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I think I am going to play around with it and see if I "need" any accessories. Thanks, again!!

only thing you might want is an extra seal if you tend to cook savory and sweet as the seal can pick up strong smells. I wash mine in the dishwasher but if I was doing cheesecakes would use a different one
only thing I got was an egg holder that can hold a dozen eggs.
