ANYONE GETTING THE MING PAN?

[ Edited ]

I've been interested in that size and shape pan for months.   11 by 11" square, and 3 plus " in depth. 7.5 qts.

I just ordered the red, free shipping, and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I ordered the copper. The red looks beautiful too. Never tried the brand before so I'm hoping it's as nice as it looks. Free shipping is a nice incentive too. *hint hint*

I have a flip pan about the same size and love it.

I'm posting here though to sahre that I have a few Ming pots and pans and they are wonderful.  Nice even temp, good balance and super easy clean-up.

Re: ANYONE GETTING THE MING PAN?

Actually I bought it the last time it was the HSN Special value a few months ago. I like it so much I ordered one today for MIL as one of her XMAS gifts.  It really is non stick , I make caramel in it and peanut butter fudge and it has no sticking, which is really great. Plus it is about double the size of the copper chef pan I have seen in BBB.  I like that i can do  pot roast in one pan, sear the meat, then add veggies and put in oven, It really is versatile. I think if you are a person who likes to cook, you will like it and find lots of uses.

Hi @crazycockermom

I was torn between the red and the copper, finally went with red since my kitchen is white with red.  Both are really pretty Smiley Happy

Thanks for posting here @Buck-i-Nana !  I don't have any of his products yet, so that's all good to know!

I like to keep a big pan on the stove and have always wanted one with depth.  I'm also glad this one comes with a glass lid.

Hi @Noel7, I agree with @Buck-i-Nana, I don't have this pan but I do have one of his wok type pans and just love it.  Cooks beautifully and the clean up is a breeze.  I would love to order a set of fry pans from him one day . . . Smiley Happy
