I had a Ninja 6.5 quart air fryer that I loved but I wanted to switch it up for a glass air fryer.
I bought the Ninja Crispi because Costco had a great deal. Well, if you are a senior citizen or anyone who has a bit of arthritis in your hand, please think again.
With the Crispi, you actually have to remove the entire top to shake or stir. It's quite heavy and cumbersome. The Crispi also has preset temps that you cannot adjust up or down.
Needless to say, I returned it. I bought a Cuisinart Clear View Air Fryer. It's 4 quarts. I love this airfryer. It is a little weird looking but it's very easy to use and the temps can be adjusted.
So - just an FYI

I like an air fryer with a drawer. The Crispi with the removable hot top always had me wondering where I'd put the top (presumably still plugged in) while I shook or stirred the food inside the bowl. Just storing the extra bowls that often come with it would be a nuisance in a small kitchen. The drawer types are pretty easy.

OP I have no idea what you are talking about it being cumbersome and heavy? Really? i am 72 with arthritis in my hands and I have no problem using my Ninja Crispi air fryer. I'm madly in love with it in fact!
Ninja has great products and I'm slowly switching all of my small appliances to Ninja! Big thumbs up!

Good to know, OP. I do love the Ninja brand and if/when my Instant Pot airfryer bites the dust, I would consider that brand. Mine is a 6qt but has a window and light in it --its a pull out drawer too. Works great--may it keep working for a long time to come!!!😉

I'm 72 with wrist weakness and have never had any trouble with my Ninja Crispi. Not heavy at all. You can set the top on a quartz or granite countertop with no problem. The other option is to set it on a wood cutting board. Love mine.

My Crispi is not cooking evenly. It does okay if something is already cooked like frozen fries etc. but if it is raw cooking from scratch like a burger it is awful. The burger will brown and crust about a 1/4 of an inch on the edge but the center will be completely uncooked just slightly gray with lots of blood. I've tried everything. For me it is the sorriest appliance I have ever purchased. This is my first air fryer and I suspect my last.
I bought another Ninja smoothie maker a few years ago that does a wonderful job but you also have to lift the motor with the lid. That one does not have anything to grip to and I have dropped it twice on my foot. At least the air fryer does have some grip. I hate it. Aside from the perfect fish and chips it is a total dud for me.
I will not be buying anything that I have to lift the motor with the lid anymore.
