A question about bone-in hams......

I can't remember..........is it the shank or the butt end that has less bone and more meat??

Saw some gorgeous hams being put out at Safeway today and my mind raced to sandwiches, soup, and beans and whatever else I could make now that it's so much colder here. It's been a long time since I've seen hams as beautiful and fresh looking as these. But I passed them by for today. I thought them a tad pricey (like everything else!), but will go back tomorrow if someone steers me in the right direction and tells me which end of the ham is better!! TIA
